The Hotel at Kirkwood Center is pleased to announce Ploy Chumnanont as the new Banquet Manager.

A graduate of both Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and the California School of Culinary Arts, Pasadena, Calif., much of Ploy’s experience comes from four- and five-star properties in Burbank and Beverly Hills. Ploy refined her banquet planning and hospitality skills by learning from the best. Her background includes more than a decade of food and beverage management, and catering planning at top West Coast resorts.  She has coordinated services for the stays of President Barack Obama, former Vice President Al Gore, Saudi Arabian royalty and several celebrities.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Ploy’s credentials join our team.” said Lee Belfield, general manager of The Hotel at Kirkwood Center. “Ploy is a dynamic hospitality leader with an unmatched staff. Her style and experience fit well with The Hotel’s focus on exemplary guest experiences.”

Along with banquet management duties, Ploy will serve as a faculty person for Kirkwood’s world-class Hospitality Arts program. As the only luxury teaching hotel of its kind in the nation, The Hotel at Kirkwood Center prepares professionals to lead the global hospitality industry.
