Over $1 Million Still Available in Scholarships

By July 7, 2014January 4th, 2019No Comments

Kirkwood Community College offers over $2.7 million in scholarships to students every year. Every student, no matter their age, academic standing or financial situations should apply: one application allows access for consideration to all of the scholarships the college has available.

While first-round scholarship awards have already been granted, the school has another $1 million in scholarships remaining to gift to applicants who get their submission in by July 31 for the fall 2014 semester. Those who have filled out an application between October 1, 2013 and now do not need to reapply.

Students need to have completed the online Kirkwood Community College Admissions Application and have a k number and password before applying. Kirkwood strongly encourages students to also fill out a FAFSA to be considered for Financial Aid assistance and grants. Scholarships and grants awarded to students do not have to be repaid.

New applications are highly encouraged, as the second-round deadline will not be extended. Students enrolling in the fall 2014 semester should visit www.kirkwood.edu/scholarships to fill out the online application today.
