Programs to begin in September
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (July 25, 2014) — Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services (KTOS) will offer a series of business programs led by professionals in the areas of capital improvement, communications, human resource management and strategic planning. Sessions will be held at KTOS, located at 3375 Armar Dr., Marion, or the Kirkwood Continuing Education Training Center, 101 50th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Kirkwood Community College staff has collaborated with local companies and organizations to identify common training needs within the metro area to keep topics relevant to current business leaders. Presenters include business strategists, educators, authors and trainers. Emphasis will be on leadership skills, organizational behavior and strategic planning while balancing a positive approach within the work environment.
“We’re excited to host this stellar line-up of business professionals to offer fresh perspectives on areas of business that leaders deal with on a daily basis,” states Amy Lasack, Senior Director of Corporate Training with Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services. “Their expertise on a wide array of topics will empower individuals to be at the top of their game in their respective organizations.”
Interested persons can join the consortium by purchasing a season pass for the nine-session 2014-15 series. Seats may be filled with different staff members based on the content of each individual training session. Members of the Business Partners Training Consortium also receive exclusive invites to upcoming KTOS events.
