Cedar Rapids (February 18, 2015)—On February 24 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. local manufacturers will be recruiting employees at Kirkwood’s Washington County Regional Center located at 2192 Lexington Boulevard. Admission to the job fair is free.
According to Senior Director of Corporate Training, Amy Lasack, “In working closely with area manufacturing sector boards we know there is a shortage in applicants for manufacturing positions. Not only can we help train potential applicants, we are very willing to host the job fair to get positions filled.”
Area manufacturers attending the fair include: ACH Foam, Bazooka Farmstar, Engineered Building Design, Modine Manufacturing and Whitesell Corporation.
