Ingredients will fly, knives will flash–just maybe, a temper or two, too–as Kirkwood Community College once again hosts the Iron Chef Cedar Rapids competition.
Guests are invited to join an exciting culinary challenge in the Mansfield Center, Wednesday, March 10. Three local restaurants will be competing against a team of Kirkwood Culinary students in an Iron Chef-style event. Guests will be able to get up close and personal with the live action while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer.
This is the fourth year of the event, hosted at Kirkwood and sponsored by the Junior League of Cedar Rapids. Guests are directly involved in voting for the supplier of their favorite hors d’oeuvre item.
