Gardening Fair a Winter Tradition

Cedar Rapids, Iowa (February 10, 2015)—For the eleventh straight year Kirkwood Community College, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and the Linn County Master Gardeners host a daylong, gardening event on Saturday, February 21, at the Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids.

On average nearly 600 gardening enthusiasts take advantage of this annual opportunity to learn about topics ranging from conifers to composting. Open to the public, guests have the option of attending seminars of their choice beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuition is $59 and includes a boxed lunch.
