What did you do before Kirkwood?: I was a four sport athlete and was also very involved in extracurricular activities at Prairie High School.
Why did you come to Kirkwood?: I initially looked at Kirkwood because of their successful softball program. That is the biggest reason why I am here, but after being on campus I have realized there is more to Kirkwood than just their athletics. Their academics are great as far as the caring teachers and small class sizes and the variety of programs that are offered.
Activities and Hobbies?: I am very close to my family so I spend a lot of time with them whether that’s just hanging out and watching movies to going boating in the summer. I also enjoy spending time with my friends because we always come up with random fun things to do. I am involved in Student Ambassadors on campus and have been involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Leadership Council and Phi Theta Kappa. I also spend my time babysitting and working at The Kirkwood Hotel in The Class Act Restaurant.
Plans for the future?: In the fall I plan to attend Upper Iowa University to continue my education and softball career.
