CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (May 4, 2022)–Kirkwood Community College held the 2022 Celebration of Success at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center on April 28. Put on by the Kirkwood Foundation, the event celebrated outstanding alums from throughout the decades, leaders in higher education and the college’s most valuable business partners.
Now in its ninth year, the Celebration of Success is the Kirkwood Foundation’s signature event with prestigious recipients, significant attendance and a multicourse dinner prepared by the college’s Culinary Arts department.
“This is one of the biggest events of the year for the college,” said Kirkwood Vice President of Advancement Jody Pellerin. “It gives the institution a chance to recognize some of our most distinguished and accomplished alumni. At the same time, it allows us to formally thank the people and organizations that aid in the college achieving its mission. The 2022 President’s Award winner, GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation, has been a great partner with Kirkwood and we are thrilled to celebrate them with this award. We look forward to continuing our work with them well into the future.”
