CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (July 12, 2016)-Kirkwood Community College has set its Campus Visit Days schedule for the 2016-17 season. Kicking-off the year will be two summer visit days on Friday, July 22, and Friday, August 5.
Kirkwood campus visit days are a great way for prospective students and parents to experience every aspect of Kirkwood life, including academics, housing, student events and more. Representatives from admissions will be on hand to explain the admissions and registration process. Financial aid representatives will also provide information about the FAFSA process, loans and scholarships. Fall visits start in October and continue through May.
“We offer Friday and Saturday visit days to fit into the busy schedules of students and their parents,” said Dean of Admissions and Student Life Doug Bannon. “When students come for an on-site visit, they feel that Kirkwood is a warm, welcoming campus. Prospective students from all over Iowa and surrounding states have come to these events. They’ve been a huge success.”
