The Animal Health Technologies department at Kirkwood Community College will host an open house Saturday, Oct. 3. Events will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Animal Health building on the south side of the main Kirkwood campus, just off 76th Avenue SW.
Events will include tours and demonstrations, including a presentation on raptor care and rescue from the Kirkwood Raptor Center beginning at 11:15. A silent auction of donated items will raise funds for the Anne Konrardy Scholarship Fund to assist future Kirkwood students. Attendees can also view dogs available for adoption later this fall.
