Rockwell volunteers pitch in via grant support to aid in analog-to-digital TV conversions
The Heritage Agency is reaching out to help seniors make the digital transition. Seniors, or their caregivers, who need help connecting their converter boxes, applying for the converter box coupons online, or have questions can call Katherine Hines, the Information and Assistance Coordinator at the Heritage Agency.
The Heritage Agency has partnered with the Rockwell Collins Retired Volunteers program to help seniors with the installation of their converter boxes.
On June 12 traditional analog TV service will be shut off and digital television will be what remains. Seniors with a television not connected to a converter box, cable, or satellite will need to take action before June 12.
For further questions on the digital transition, help applying for the coupon program, or help connecting a converter box contact Katherine Hines with the Heritage Agency at (319)398-5559 or 1-800-332-5934.
