Chicago vocalist/songwriter Peter Cetera, Jimi Jamison fill the night with music, June 18
Classic rock music comes alive again during Freedom Festival 2010 presented by the Gazette Family of Companies with another outstanding double-treat on Friday, June 18. This year’s concert, sponsored by Mediacom and Veridian Credit Union, features headliner Peter Cetera and an opening performance by Jimi Jamison.
Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Peter Cetera has succeeded with two profound musical careers as a solo artist and as the legendary voice, songwriter and bass player for the group Chicago. As a distinguished solo artist since 1986 Cetera’s notable hits have included “The Glory of Love,” “The Next Time I Fall,” “Feels Like Heaven,” “Restless Heart,” “After All” and numerous others. His worldwide success with the Grammy Award winning band, Chicago, includes the hits “If You Leave Me Now,” “You’re the Inspiration,” “Stay the Night,” “Feeling Stronger Every Day” and many others.
Continuously acclaimed as one of the Top 10 male vocalists, Jimi Jamison and his band deliver a powerful live performance. The former singer of the Grammy Award winning rock group Survivor has sung on many Top 10 hits including “The Search Is Over,” “High on You,” and “Burning Heart.” In concert Jamison performs all the hits of Survivor, including the #1 smash hit “Eye of the Tiger” from Rocky III and “I’m Always Here,” the song he co-wrote and sang for the TV show Baywatch.

Prices remain unchanged from 2009: Preferred Seating, $20; Adult General Admission, $15; and, Youth General Admission, $5.
