The Kirkwood Community College men’s and women’s and basketball teams climbed the polls released this week. The men received a No. 2 ranking after moving two spots from last week’s poll. The women earned a No. 4 ranking after jumping one spot from last week.

The men hold a 22-3 overall record, with a 9-0 conference record. The Eagles were able to hit 100 points Wednesday in a win over NIACC (100-58) to continue a nine-game win streak.

The women’s 20-game win streak was also extended Wednesday after an 82-36 victory over NIACC. The win moved the Eagles to 22-2 overall and 11-0 in conference play.

Both teams travel to Boone Saturday for conference matchups. The women face No. 9 DMACC at 1 p.m., and the men follow at 3 p.m. against No. 12 ranked DMACC.
