Kirkwood Community College has appointed Stephanie Bredman to the position of Program Manager, Iowa Industrial New Jobs Training. She had previously served as Center Director for the Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education.
Executive Vice President for Continuing Education and Training Services, Dr. Dee Baird commented on the appointment.
“Stephanie will work with approximately 200 existing business clients to ensure the obligations of these contracts are being met. Additionally, in partnership with our economic development partners in the seven county area, she will represent the program to new clients and also work with businesses to determine training and education needs. Stephanie brings a deep knowledge of the college, our business community and rich professional experience to this position,” Baird said.
Bredman succeeds James Loukota in the position. Loukota retired from Kirkwood at the end of 2009.
