Kirkwood Community College will offer a series of free workshops to assist area residents in job searches and career exploration. The free workshops will focus on basic skills needed by those seeking employment or new career directions.
The following workshops will be presented by Kirkwood Career Services Director Danielle Ebaugh, in Room 216 at the Iowa City Kirkwood Campus Credit Center from 9 – 11 a.m. each day:
Tuesday, February 23 Resume Writing
Tuesday, March 16 Interviewing Skills
Tuesday, April 20 Cover Letters/Job Applications
Tuesday, May 11 Resume Writing (repeat of February 23 workshop)
“These programs have been quite popular at our Cedar Rapids campus, so we are glad to work with the Iowa City Skills to Employment staff in making these sessions available in Iowa City,” Ebaugh said.
