What is your background?: I am from Monticello, Iowa, and attended Monticello High School. My parents are Pat and Tami and I have two siblings: Donovan and Maria.
What brought you to Kirkwood and why?: There are a couple reasons why I came to Kirkwood. The first was because of basketball. After high school, I knew I wanted to play basketball somewhere and Kirkwood was a great fit for me. Another big reason that I came here is because of the Industrial Maintenance Program. Many other colleges do not offer these types of programs and it worked perfectly to study in this program while also playing basketball.
What is your program of study and what interests you about it?: I am in the Industrial Maintenance Technology program. This field interests me because I enjoy doing hands-on tasks and like to be up and moving around. So, I knew this program would fit me well.
Are you involved in anything else on campus? If so, what and why?: I am on the mens basketball team here at Kirkwood. I wanted to play basketball in college and I was recruited to come here and it fit me well.
Are you involved in anything off of campus?: I am not involved in anything off campus
What do you do for fun?: In my free time I enjoy playing other sports, especially golf. I also enjoy hunting and just being outdoors.
Where do you see yourself in five years?: In five years, I see myself working in the electrical field. I could be working in the union or involved with an internship for a company. Either way, I believe I will be successful because there is a lot of need in the electrical field right now.
