Iowa City Campus also plans extra Saturday assistance time on Aug. 21
With an expected rise in new student enrollments, Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids will offer extra services for two Saturdays in August. Key main campus offices will provide student assistance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. August 14 and 21. College staff will be on hand to help students “finish up for fall” before the start of classes on August 23.
Open offices in Cedar Rapids include the Bookstore, Advising and Transfer Center, Admissions, Student Life, EagleCard office, Library and the Michael J Gould Kirkwood Recreation Center. In addition, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services and Cashier (bill-pay) services will be available in the Bookstore, Benton Hall both days.
The Kirkwood Iowa City Campus will also be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. Services available to students that day will be academic advising and registration, financial aid advising, tuition payments, library services, and campus bookstore.
