Kirkwood offices are now open!

Following the devastating storm on Monday, August 10, fall classes will now begin on Monday, August 31.
Most Kirkwood locations have reopened and are operating normally, including the registration offices open on main campus located at 202 Kirkwood Hall and 114 Benton Hall. For the latest storm recovery news, go to www.kirkwood.edu/stormrecovery.

The majority of staff at all Kirkwood campuses and buildings have returned to campus and are ready to help you in-person! Here’s how — and when — you can find and meet face-to-face with a Kirkwood professional on campus who’s ready to help you with the answers and resources you need:

Iowa City Campus One Stop – Admissions, Enrollment, Financial Aid, Academic Advising
Main campus One Stop (202 Kirkwood Hall) – Admissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, Academic Advising, Student Assistance, and Veterans Services
If you are visiting the One Stop before the fall 2020 semester, please follow these requirements:
- Masks are required when on campus.
- When arriving, enter campus from the Kirkwood Blvd. south campus entrance and proceed to Kirkwood Hall.
- Park on the south side of Kirkwood Hall, and use the south building entrance.
- Before entering, you will first visit the Kirkwood tent outside for a quick temperature check and health screening.
- Once approved to proceed, only individual students can enter the building. No groups, family, children, or friends can accompany the student.
- Please continue to practice six feet social distancing during your visit.
August 5:
Kirkwood will be opening a second registration location on main campus in the Admissions and Student Life office at 114 Benton Hall on Wednesday, August 5. Services offered at this location include:
Admissions, Financial Aid (including French language services), Enrollment Services, and Academic Advising
If you are visiting the Benton Hall location before the fall 2020 semester, please follow these requirements:
- Masks are required when on campus.
- When arriving, enter campus from the Kirkwood Blvd. main campus entrance and proceed to Benton Hall.
- Before entering, you will first visit the Kirkwood tent outside for a quick temperature check and health screening.
