A 2012 International Education Week event

Free events all week, Nov. 12-16

Kirkwood’s International Programs office has once again planned activities to celebrate International Education Week at the college. There are activities each day, showcasing cultures from around the globe. The week concludes with the student dance on Friday night:

Monday, Nov. 12: Cultural dance demonstrations, 11-11:50 a.m. in Iowa Hall Atrium, with performances by Central American students; 3:30 in Iowa Hall Atrium, a special dance performance by Ghanaian Dancer Nani Agbeli

Tuesday, Nov. 13: United Nations Student Alliance panel discussion: “The Global Role of United Nations Agencies and Non-governmental Organizations, as seen by Kirkwood Students,” 11-11:50 a.m., 234 Cedar Hall

Wednesday, Nov. 14: International student displays, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Iowa Hall, 2nd Floor

Thursday, Nov. 15: Film screening of: Crossing Borders, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Iowa Hall, Iowa Room

Friday, Nov. 16, Student dance, 7-10 p.m. Iowa Hall Atrium
