The Kirkwood Community College Foundation, in partnership with the Alumni Leadership Council, is proud to announce the launch of the Kirkwood Alumni-Owned Business Directory.
Many Kirkwood alumni have followed their passions into the workforce and founded their own businesses. The Alumni-Owned Business Directory shines a light on these inspiring entrepreneurs so the Kirkwood community can better connect with and support their organizations.
“The Kirkwood Alumni-Owned Business Directory was instituted by the Alumni Leadership Council to recognize and promote the talents and offerings of our alums,” said Kirkwood Foundation Director of Advancement Jody Donaldson. “We are excited for the energy behind the directory, and delighted to see our list of businesses growing quickly! We celebrate the diversity of offerings, and look forward to connecting Kirkwood alumni and supporters to Kirkwood alumni-owned businesses throughout our communities.”
In addition to adding their company to the online directory, business owners have the option to feature a “Kirkwood Alumni-Owned Business” window cling in their storefronts and digital badge on their websites. Many have chosen to proudly display their affiliation to the college.
