Parts of Benton and Cedar Halls Only Areas Affected; Other Campus Locations in Normal Operation
An electrical power transformer failure at Kirkwood Community College has prompted the adjustment of some class schedules for Monday and Tuesday, October 12-13. The power outage affects parts of Benton and Cedar halls on the Kirkwood main campus only.
College facilities officials expect a replacement electrical assembly to be installed and power systems tested by Tuesday evening, with normal class operations by Wednesday morning.
