By September 9, 2018October 25th, 2018No Comments

What is your background?: I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but spent most of my life in Evanston, where I went to Evanston Township High school and graduated in the Class of 2018. My mother’s name is Crystal and my fathers name is James, and I have one younger brother, Legend.

What brought you to Kirkwood and why?: I was originally planning to attend the University of Iowa but I realized it was so much better (and smarter) for me to attend Kirkwood.

What is your program of study and what interests you about it?: My program of study is Construction Management. I like to be involved in a project and overseeing something start to finish. I like to be up and doing something, and I dislike the idea of just sitting behind a computer. I really enjoy conversing with people, and Construction Management involves a lot of communication, which also is a perfect fit.

Are you involved in anything else on campus? If so, what and why?: I am a student ambassador, because I always wanted to do that at my high school but was unable to because of basketball. My former high school was one of the biggest high schools in the country and I knew the campus like the back of my hand so I thought I could help out parents find classrooms during parent-teacher conferences.

What do you do for fun?: For fun I play basketball, listen to music, and play video games.

Where do you see yourself in five years?: In five years, I see myself having a good, steady job in the business field.
