What is your background?: I am from East Dubuque, Illinois and I went to East Dubuque High School. My dad is from East Dubuque and my mother is from Salem, Arkansas. I have one brother, two step-sisters, and a stepmom.

What brought you to Kirkwood and why?: My stepmom is from Cedar Rapids and she told me about the school! I thought it was a great opportunity to save money and further my education in a different city and state!

What is your program of study and what interests you about it?: My program Business Marketing interests me because it allows me to utilize all parts of my brain, since it ranges from analytics and statistics to creating original content. I feel as though I am always doing something new, exciting and hopefully impactful.

Are you involved in anything else on campus? If so, what and why?: I am involved in Kirkwood Dance Marathon since I am very passionate about giving back to the kids who need it most. I have also been involved in DECA Business Club for the past two years. I actually went to California this past spring to compete in the national competition. DECA has helped me create so many connections with my fellow peers and has given me real life business experiences as well.

Are you involved in anything off of campus?: Yes, I am a server at Buffalo Wild Wings and I dabble in a little photography as well!

What do you do for fun?: I love to travel, take photos, spend time with my friends in coffee shops and go to concerts.

Where do you see yourself in five years?: I see myself living in a bigger city, living in a lavish apartment with my dog, just living life to the absolute fullest and being a girl boss, of course.
